*Smart Scroll* gives you more control over how you scroll pages in OS X. It
makes scrolling smoother, faster and more comfortable in a number of ways.
Smart Scroll offers smooth and easy iPhone-like scrolling which the
developers claim can even improve Magic Mouse and the new trackpads. One
example is the reverse scrolling feature similar to that used in iOS on
iPhones. Smart Scroll also reduces the amount of time you spend scrolling by
introducing an Auto Scroll feature which brings hands free scrolling to
Safari Reader and Quick Look. Other features include Hover Scroll makes which
enables scrolling as soon as you hover the mouse cursor over a page and Grab
Scroll which uses hand style movements to move window contents. Of course,
there's also a scroll accelerator which allows you to speed up the scrolling
speed of your mouse. However, it has been reported by some users that Smart
Scroll may work with some applications better than others. For instance, it
can be "sticky" when using it in Firefox and you have to turn off Firefox's
Smooth Scrolling preference under Advanced and General in the preferences to
