Moyea YouTube FLV Downloader is an application that allows you to download
video from the most popular internet video sites. Copy the link from a
YouTube (for example) page and it will download that video. Unlike many FLV
downloaders, Moyea YouTube FLV Downloader does not sync with your browser,
rather it relies on you manually adding the links you want. This is not a
difficult thing to do, but it is surprising that there isn't better
integration with Firefox or IE. There is an in-program browser in Moyea
YouTube FLV Downloader, which is buggy and visually uninspiring. It doesn't
keep any history at all, so each time you open it you have to type in URLs
again. Any downloadable content is listed in a panel under the browser, and
can be checked if you want to download it. When you choose to download,
another window pops up and requires a manually typed in file name. This makes
for a clunky, uncomfortable system. The actual downloading is fast, and
unproblematic, and you can watch any of your videos in the Moyea FLV
Downloader window, which is the program's only neat feature. The main problem
with this freeware downloader is its apparent FLV converter option. This, one
assumes, would convert your FLV to AVI or other files, but in Moyea YouTube
FLV Downloader it opens your browser and takes you to a page to download a
non-freeware FLV converter. It is not unacceptable to put advertising in free
software, but something like this is annoying. *Moyea YouTube FLV Downloader
is a passable video downloader let down by an unintuitive design, dreadful
