*StarCraft II: Starter Edition* is the free, "lite" version of the
popular *strategy game* developed by Blizzard, *StarCraft 2* – an engaging
adventure in which three species fight against each other for the control of
the universe. Unlike the demo, StarCraft II: Starter Edition offers more
content to players: the first four missions from the *single-player campaign*
(including Mar Sara 1-3 and the choice to get on Tychus's or Dr. Hansen's
first mission), the first two *challenges* (Tactical Command and Covert Ops),
access to the Terran race in Custom games and Single-Player vs. Computer, an
d access to four different maps. The good thing about StarCraft II: Starter
Edition is that it'll save any campaign progress and achievements and carry
them over to the full version of the game, should you decide to upgrade to
it. Though StarCraft II: Starter Edition lacks lots of content from the
original game, it's still a great way to get started in this epic space
adventure. The only thing you'll need to play StarCraft II: Starter Edition
is a free Battle.net account, a broadband Internet connection and a bit of
patience to download the almost 7-gigabyte game file. *StarCraft II: Starter
Edition is more than just a demo: a nice, fun way to start playing this
amazing strategy adventure.*Download *StarCraft II: Starter Edition* in
