Screenshot Captor 2.99.01-Simple and functional screenshot program

As we've mentioned before, here at Softonic we have to take lots of
screenshots everyday, so we need a screen capturing program that is simple to
use, doesn't hog system resources and can provide us with a wide range of
tools. After trying out a few, I must say Screenshot Captor meets all these
requirements and does a great job. Screenshot Captor enables you to capture
images in a variety of ways, ranging from the active window to a fixed size
zone and including objects, scrolling windows (great for capturing sites from
top to bottom) and even your entire working space, which means that if you
have multiple monitors Screenshot Captor will capture all of them. These
capturing modes are conveniently available from a system tray icon and also
via customizable keyboard shortcuts. But the best is yet to come: Screenshot
Captor includes an excellent set of filters and special effects for your
screenshots: frames, borders, shadow effects, arrows and a lot more. We tried
all of them and were satisfied with the results, although we missed the
possibility to undo actions beyond the last step. We also had problems with
Screenshot Captor when trying to apply certain effects; the trick here is to
make sure the image is not selected, as Screenshot Captor tends to select
everything after taking a shot and this may interfere with other tools.
Despite this, we found some really good tools in Screenshot Captor like the
possibility to automatically generate thumbnails from images or a zoom that
can go up to an impressive 999%. You can actually see every single pixel in
the image! In general, Screenshot Captor features so many possibilities that
you may feel a bit overwhelmed at the beginning. Our advice is to be patient
and give the program a chance - it's really worth it.Download *Screenshot
