There's simply nothing more annoying than programs that refuse to uninstall
when you ask them to. Some unscrupulous developers make sure that their
programs are as hard to remove as possible while other things like malware
get totally rooted in your system and Windows uninstaller can do little to
help. That's why you may find it useful to use Total Uninstall before you
install new software as it creates a snapshot of your system prior to
installing a new application. It then takes an additional snapshot after the
installation has completed and performs an automatic comparison of the two.
The program displays any changes that have been made in a tree view,
highlighting all registry values and/or files that have been added, changed
or deleted. The program then saves these changes and if you decide to
uninstall the application, it can reverse the changes to the previous state.
This is similar to the Windows rollback utility although that takes up a lot
of space on your hard drive and only makes rollback points at certain
intervals. This program does it when you want although it does take rather a
long time to scan and analyze the state of your machine at any one time.
