If you're a movie fan then you've probably got tons of films - both on DVD
and DivX - and you may be losing track of what and what you haven't got. The
important thing with any program like this is that it makes data entry quick
and easy and Movie Label 2009 certainly allows this. To get going, simply
start the "Movie Query" function and type the name of the movie you wish to
add to your collection. The cool thing is that Movie Label then downloads
data about the movie and adds it to your database automatically. The problem
is that sometimes, it doesn't seem to recognise films but unless you've got a
real eclectic collection, you should be OK. It also makes searching through
your films easy to check whether you have a film or not - just click on the
column header and your collection will be sorted by that particular field.
This can be by title, name of actors or theme which is useful in organising
your collection on the basis of your favourite themes or actors. To top this
out, the program includes export options to XML, HTML, Excel and text files.
