VisualBoyAdvance (Mac Boy Advance) 1.7.5-GameBoy and GameBoyAdvance emulator

If you're nostalgic about your GameBoy or Gameboy Advance then
*VisualBoyAdvance for Mac* could be the program for you. With it, you can
play old favorites such as Pokemon on your Mac. VisualBoyAdvance, previously
known as Mac Boy Advance, emulates all the games of the popular portable
Nintendo consoles. There aren't many GBA emulators which work on Intel Macs
but *Mac Boy Advance* does. It works on all Intel Macs including OS X 10.7
Lion. VisualBoyAdvance is a simple GBA Emulator which allows you to play all
of your favorite GBA games. Of course, you'll need some GBA game ROMS before
you can play available from sites such as CoolROM. VisualBoyAdvance has some
useful features such as game saving, fast-forwarding, video filters and the
ability to change screen size. The latter function is particularly useful as
by default, it opens in a tiny window which isn't very playable.
VisualBoyAdvance supports 148Kb Flash and the application of automatic IP
patches. This GBA emulator is written specifically for OS X and according to
the developers, has a higher compatibility than Boycott Advance. However,
expect some bugs while using it. Recent updates to OS X seem to have made it
liable to crashes or a tendency to display screens incorrectly or not at all.
However, depending on the game you want to play, it may be the only emulator
that runs it for you. However, it does work with Intel Macs running Lion.
*VisualBoyAdvance for Mac isn't perfect but is a must for all hardcore fans
of GameBoy games that want to play them again on Mac.*Download
